How the Engine Works

The V2 engine is a multihead transformer with 4 specialised heads:

Trained on 101,982 examples from real games + self-play. Win rate calibrated via Platt scaling (ECE 0.014). Each prediction includes confidence intervals and adaptive plans A/B/C based on the opponent's revealed lead.

How to Read a Prediction

Entering the opponent's 6 gives you:

  1. Bring: the 4 most likely Pokemon they will bring
  2. Leads: the most likely opening duo
  3. Moveset per Pokemon: top-6 moves with percentages
  4. Scenarios A/B/C/D: adaptive plan based on which lead they reveal
  5. Your move effectiveness: x2, x0.5, immune (coloured badges)

Low confidence (<60%) means the opponent has many viable sets; play defensively. High confidence (>85%) supports aggressive decisions.
